A grand entrance with a worldly aesthetic.
Design of sculpture, logo, logotype and print collateral for the world headquarter offices of a real estate development company.
The thirty-six foot structure of sculpted, bronzed wood was engineered so that the elements appear to be floating over panels of etched glass, which in turn appear to float away from the wall. Installed in the main entry area of the offices, it is the first thing seen upon entry and makes a statement that reflects the global culture. The etched, mirrored glass panels reflect light, adding illumination to an otherwise dark hallway, providing a welcoming glow to lead the visitor into reception.
April has performed as collaborator. She has worked directly with my clients. Either relationship delivers an enjoyable period of creation and to the point wonderful product with happy clients.– Bill Bartolotta, creative director
The corporate logo was cast in bronze and mounted to a section of the frosted glass face of the entry wall, and also applied to their website and print collateral. The logotype was manufactured in brushed aluminum and applied to the wood wall panel in the lobby and to the front of the reception desk.
